We came to DEFY (now called Sky Zone) on a very quiet Monday afternoon at 2pm. The staff to guest ratio was nearly 1:1 and they were very well-staffed, however none of the staff members were doing anything – the snack bar was closed, the staff that (I assume) were supposed to be monitoring the playground were just hanging out with each other and playing on their phones, and a group of staff members were hanging out behind the front desk, which was (for the most part) completely empty. The entire facility was filthy – not just wrappers and trash but the kind of filth that builds up from weeks if not months of neglect. The facility is also full of deferred maintenance, with broken toys, equipment that’s closed off or inoperable, and the lack of visible cleanliness leaving me with some very big concerns about the cleanliness of the equipment – especially the ball and foam pits. They charged us over $120 USD for 90 minutes of playtime for two toddlers and two accompanying adults, which is already very expensive, however given the current state of this facility, it’s an outrageous and unacceptable price to be charging. The only reason they’re getting two stars instead of one star is because we came here in 2023 and had a much different experience – I hope that this is an anomaly and that they will be putting some serious work into resolving these issues and repairing the playground.
